Gas into wood stove starts shop fire in Redmond

Redmond Fire extinguished a fire in a shop last night that began when the owner put gas into a wood stove setting off a small explosion. The incident was called in just before 11 pm to a home on NE 33rd Street. Smoke was coming from the shed when firefighters arrived. They were able to extinguish the fire quickly. No one was injured. Total damage done to the structure and its contents was about 5 thousand dollars.
